LuLu measures 30" from hands to feet when hanging on a door knob. You will sculpt a face from a flat surface using a special fabric called Thin Skin. This fabric will be included with the pattern. Be creative using a choice of 4 or 5 different fabrics.

      Every face is different with needle sculpting on a smooth surface. The most exciting thing is to watch what forms. The doll comes to life and the expression gives the doll its own personality. If you want to learn free-form sculpting this is the class. I will show you options of different ways to draw the stitches in places that will totally change the expression. I will also give several different eye and mouth shape choices.

The lessons will flow as follows:

• Lesson 1: Assembly of legs, shoes, arms and hands and creating the upper body and pleated ruffle .
• Lesson 2: Sculpting and painting face.
• Lesson 3: Assembly of parts, hair application and creating embellishments using frayed bias technique.
